Driving & Road Trips
Long stretches of highway, weird roadside stops, and the feeling of being in motion.
How I Like to Travel
I enjoy road trips that are a mix of planning and improvisation: start with a rough route, a couple of anchor spots, and leave room for detours, viewpoints, and coffee stops that weren’t on the map.
This section will collect stories from past drives, ideas for future ones, and a few notes about things I’ve learned from spending a lot of time behind the wheel.
Types of Drives I Like
- Coastal drives – ocean views, sea air, and winding roads.
- Desert highways – long straight stretches and big skies.
- Mountain passes – tight curves, elevation changes, and lookout points.
- Late-night city drives – empty streets, lights, and music.
